We had been before, but we thought this was the best the food has been. We had salmon and scallops. We shared the trout dip which was very delicious and our friends were very impressed with it. Service was a little slow and the restaurant wasn't all that busy for a Sunday evening. We didn't mind so we had plenty of time to talk and enjoy our food. The staff went above and beyond to make a surprise birthday even more special. We all felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The clam chowder and lobster mac were outstanding. Highly recommend, can't wait to come back for happy hour. Despite having reservations- our server Jessie. Rushed us through every order selection. Brought check while we were still eating and even picked up receipt while we were still sitting there. Note our reservations were at 5:30. Half restaurant was empty and we were walking out by 6:45. Watched other servers and wished we would have had any of them instead. Listened to specials from other tables service. Seafood ok but definitely not. My husband and I had the filet, it, the sides and dessert panna cotta was delicious. However, later in the day, I picked up the stuffed cod to go. It almost seemed like those two portions were to make up for the skimpy portion of fish. It was the first time we've been disappointed in a meal there. We have exceptional service, yummy food, and great wine every time that we go. This is the best spot to get seafood in Denver, hands down. We made reservations for a group of 10 and our waiter kept right up with us and our energy.
